​​Would anyone like to come and learn the Hallelujah Chorus?
The Mission Community at Heanton ( incorporating Heanton, Marwood, Georgeham and West Down churches) have a combined choir that meet together for festival and other special services, led by Sharon Newcombe. Shirwell Church and Community Choir has been invited to join them for an evening of singing followed by bring and share finger food at Heanton church on Friday Feb 20th. This will include 1 or 2 choruses from the Messiah as well as other well known pieces. If you would like to come and learn the Hallelujah Chorus and / or another chorus from the Messiah there will be two practice dates at St Peter's in Shirwell: Feb 12th and 19th, 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and start learning the Hallelujah chorus even if you are not planning to go to Heanton.

Dates for choir practices for the Easter service are as follows:
March 5th, 12th, 26th and either 1st or 2nd April.
The choir is run by Julia Friend. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability, experience, age etc!
