Over many years the Hall has been supported  by contributions via a Small Lottery called the “200 Club”. It gets its name from the 200 tickets that can be sold and qualify for a monthly draw. The Hall is a valuable community asset, run and cared for by a small committee of trustees. It is available for private functions, meetings and classes. You may have attended a function: the Village Show, one of the periodic quizzes, or the regular yoga and NCT classes. If so, you will recognise the work that goes into keeping the Hall well maintained and welcoming.

The number of tickets being purchased for the 200 Club lottery has gradually reduced because of villagers moving away from the district and new residents not being aware of the club, which leaves the 200 Club with several unallocated tickets. The draw for the club is carried out during the monthly coffee morning held on the 4th Thursday of each month, and winners names are posted on the notice board inside the village hall. To see more about these coffee mornings click here.

We invite you and anyone you know in the village to buy a ticket for themselves or for members of their family who are over the age of 16, in the knowledge that you will be helping to keep the Village Hall a well maintained and inviting environment.  If you already do this then we would like to thank you for your continued support.

With the rising cost of maintenance, we are increasing the cost from £10 to £12 per year, a small raise as it has been £10 for the last 20 years.  This works out as just £1.00 a month and gives you a chance to win £25, £10 or £5 in every monthly draw. Any number of tickets can be bought by anyone, there is no obligation to attend the coffee mornings.
